I love what you said about putting the spotlight on other lesser-known characters. It can't be all Batman all the time." - Well said. You speak the truth. I love when other people say this because it's true. It's time for DC to expand and show us other great characters.

The Superman trailer looks so good, I may be watching my third American based superhero film behind the original Spiderman & Guardians of the Galaxy films. Haven't seen the Looney Tunes trailer yet as I didn't know there was such a thing.

A wonderful expression of your thoughts concerning these recently released trailers Omni Viewer, thank you, it is excessively appreciated. I'm especially glad that you liked the Superman trailer, it is phenomenally fantastic beyond what words can define or express, but, as you said, its still a good idea to be cautiously optimistic, with more emphasis placed on "cautiously", thanks again. P.S. I'll have to check out the Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up, when I get the chance, but I'm sure your assessment of the trailer is absolutely accurate!!!!!!!

The original Looney Tunes had little moments of breaking the fourth wall moments, I wasn’t expecting that The Day The Earth Blew Up was going to start breaking the fourth wall with a fully fledged feature length original Looney Tunes film.

David Zaslav's cameo IS pretty funny. ("Who greenlit this garbage?!")

James Gunn said that there is humor in this movie of course, but not as much as his usual projects.

The original Superman movie from 1978 had a LOT of comedic stuff in it but the comedy and the sincerity were expertly balanced so they didn't get in each other's way. If Gunn's movie can achieve the same balance, it could really be something special.

I think The Day the Earth Blew Up is still a bit too fluid for the slapstick to work. I think the animation should have been a bit more like The Emperor's New Groove in that it has snappy, quick movements. As for Superman, I think the Justice League is made in response to the Authority as if to slap them in the face and tell them the populace needs hope.

Too fluid? What do you mean?

@@flashfunk0373 As in it feels more like Disney than Looney Tunes. The movements are too slow and fluid, which, while fine for talking scenes, doesn't translate well for slapstick scenes.

It's odd that James Gunn gets that reputation for popularizing "Marvel humor" considering this was already happening with and after the first Avengers movie. Iron Man 3 felt like it had some exec mandating more humor in it because of audiences loving all the gags like Hulk thrashing Loki, the schwarma, Caulson quipping after blasting Loki, etc. What little I remember from Thor: The Dark World also had a bunch of jokes in it, but mostly from the side characters.

13:50 Even if Gunn wants to stick to it, Warner execs can and will veto him if they get ants in their pants over whatever. After the way the DCEU was handled, I'll believe all of this when I see it. That said, the Superman movie looks great. I raised an eyebrow when I heard that Gunn had cast Nathan Fillion, one of the most likable actors ever, to portray legendary ***hole Guy Gardner, but now I understand. Not just any face is going to look like it belongs under that hair.

I'm not thrilled with some of the ideas Gunn is planning--he REALLY pissed me off with his troll job in the final scene of The Flash (and i don't care what he says, it was a troll job for no reason), but I respect the fact that he seems to be taking risks. I will always respect someone who doesn't play it safe.

Damian Wayne sucks. I don't believe James Gunn when he says Damian Wayne is his favorite Robin. No one likes Damian Wayne.

(11:13) I honestly thought the movie was still called "Superman Legacy", I wonder why they decide to change it now? Unfortunately though now I have a feeling most people are going to mix up the title with the original 70s movie with the new one lol. 🤔✂🦸‍♂📝🤷‍♂ (1:38) "Ketchup Entertainment"!?! Who the heck thought that was a good idea to name your movie company after a food condiment lol. 🤨🎥🍅🦆🤦‍♂
