Thoughts on theTrolls 3 trailer: I'm excited for Trolls 3, but...

The Party Planner is in the house! I just watched the video and I thought I’d share my thoughts since I know that people look up to me as a critic, Trolls or not So first, I 100% agree with you about the whole “odd choice” for Branch’s brothers & how from a premise standpoint you wouldn’t understand it. I know that people have already given their theories on it and how it supposedly works but I want to hear an answer from the creators’, Walt & Tim, as I and many others do not want this new information about Branch & his brothers to clash with the backstory we were given in the first movie. I usually have no problem with information & new characters being introduced AS LONG AS there is no information in any Trolls property that suggests that he doesn’t have a brother/brothers However, I want to know how this coincides with his grandma’s death & all as it seems like they’re making it clear from the Brozone stuff that Branch takes his family seriously. I find it frustrating because I really want to know how it all fits together & I want the writing in these movies to be consistent with the canon that’s already there, not retcon it so that the story works (the retcons of previous information & backstory and character development is the biggest sign that a franchise is going downhill or doesn’t care about story & mainly cares about money) As for the Broppy wedding reference, I believe that this is intentionally there as a joke to show obvious their fate of getting married is compared to the scenario of Bridget & Gristle getting married on top of another belief that this is a tease from the writers that we MAY have a Broppy wedding in store for you but you don’t know when it will happen. However, I still see the frustration with the idea of them getting married so soon! Part of what made Broppy work is the slow burn & how they took their time for the chemistry to make sense and for them to really feel like they belong together. I would have waited for another movie before getting them married the same as you or AT LEAST, give them a time skip to the proposal & then the marriage if they’re going to do it in the third movie As for the positives to the trailer, I completely agree! The animation is great & smooth compared to the other two, I also really like the experimentation, the outfit designs, and the character development stuff. I just don’t think I’m fully on board with this first trailer like others are! Overall, great video Party Planner out

Dang! Couldn't have put it better myself. And now that you mention it, a time skip MIGHT, justify a marriage but I'm not sure. Guess We are just gonna have to see when the movie comes out. And now that you also mention Branch's grandma, that's kind of another thing I wondered about. Like, were the brothers close to her too at one point? I'm curious as well how those two points can come together. That might be pretty interesting actually.

@@thewingedunicorn5065 it makes me Hope that the movie is sure to call out the brothers on how serous their abandonment of branch was given how he didn't see them for years while he was going through the worst time of his life and their abandonment likely contributed to who he is today. as don't get me wrong I'm sure he still would have had issues following his Grandmother's death but if his brothers had actually been there to support him I'm sure he likely wouldn't have become as bad as he was in his paranoid hermit days.

I find it cute how for the wedding Branch is wearing a sparkly flashy version of his camo vest lol like even after they've been at peace with the Bergen's for all this time he still wears the green camo vest and for no reason other than personal preference he wears a sparkly version of the same thing for the wedding. I just find that kinda cute like they said in Bye Bye Bunker he can't change everything about himself.

I've always loved trolls since I was 12 and now that I'm almost 19 I still love them to this day I can't wait to see it at the cinema Obviously I'm not criticizing anyone I'm just saying my opinion.

I'm quite excited for the third Trolls film I'm surprised that the mystery new troll character in the 2nd promotional poster and have made several physical appearances finally we now know that the new character is "Viva" and she is Poppy's Long Lost Sister👩‍❤️‍👩.(you can tell the sibling resemblance) And she'll be voiced by "Camilla Cabello" who was a former member of Fifth Harmony before launching a solo career, but she has a good experience with Pop music hopefully she'll be a great Troll character for the future of this franchise. The character was so beloved that the studio has plans to feature her in other DreamWorks media including Two DreamWorks theme video games like the all star kart racing video game and the new Trolls video game also a new theme area for Universal Studios Florida.

Which makes them the third pair of Twin sisters in the Trolls franchise next to Satin & Chenille who are conjoined haired Pop trolls sisters who are interested in fashion. (The sisters are voiced by the Icona Pop "Aino Jawo" & "Caroline Hjelt" in the films and Holiday special, For the series both sisters were voiced by "Fryda Wolff" who also voiced DJ Suki) Then came Rhythm & Blues (R&B) in the 2nd series TrollsTopia who are Funk Trolls sisters who are interested in Science & intervention (both sisters were voiced by "Kat Graham" in the first 6 seasons while in the 7th season "Nisa Ward" voiced Rhythm, and "Talia Thiesfield" voiced Blues)

Her voice actress "Camilla Cabello" gives a great wonderful performance delivering her lines in a softer silky way, instead of making the twin sister purely a mature sibling, Ms Cabello voiced her as a delighted giggly school valley girl from the 1990s. Easily excited and easily emotionally caring as well.
