Think, you're just minding your own bug business and then this deafening noise screams and these giant blades start decapitating your parents heads. I sometimes wonder how different my situation would have been like if I never volunteered at this vet clinic when I did. Aside of mostly assisting the vets with cleaning around the back, I did them a favor by complete chance when a bystander brought in a box of fallen hummingbird nestlings. I was the only one who knew of "Omar's Exotic Birds" shop associating with wild bird experts. The vets saved the shop's number and the hummingbird expert's number after I made phone calls. Then I transported the nestlings to her house where I filled out a form she's kept in her records since.

i get the cat people and dog people one. it’s because cats rarely give attention to anyone other than themselves, therefor the owners often give the cat attention despite not getting any. meanwhile dogs tend to give lots of attention to their owners and tend to interact with them more, leaving the owners to take all of that attention up. cat people like giving attention. dog people like taking it.
