I’ve been using it with regular denture cleanser like polident you don’t need to use any specific product but you do need to use something like what they recommend 👍🏻

I had this for a hot minute and I’d recommend you save your money. Let your aligners sit in warm water with cleaning tab for about 3 minutes. Remove and gently brush with a very soft brush. The pod itself couldn’t even clean a nights worth of grime. Sure it got some of it off but 30 seconds with my toothbrush is far more effective and one less gadget to clutter up space

Put your retainers into white vinegar for a couple hours and then just clean with your toothbrush. More effective than this.

The point of this device is to avoid having to brush a small, often slippery dental appliance. My night guard is not large, is hard, and is very difficult to hold onto if brushing. I finally got tired of it slipping out of my hands numerous times as I attempted to brush it and bought this pod. It’s great, and because it’s so easy to use, I wear my night guard much more consistently. The thought of having to brush it everyday definitely kept me from using the guard as often as I should. I’d highly recommend this product.

I’m sure you could use other tablets but wouldn’t recommend it. You need the tablets + water to use. Can’t just use water.

The pod actually cleans with the tablets as you put them in, so there’s no actual need to clean the pod directly. 👍
