Translator's notes:
- "Don't skip your medicine." (药不能停, yào bù néng tíng): There's an English equivalent to this, which is "did you forget to take your meds?". While it can be funny, I personally don't think mental illnesses should be the basis for a joke. But alas, that is indeed where this phrase came from. When you have a mental illness that relies on medication, then you're not able to stop taking said medication. If you do, you might do or say (senseless) things you otherwise wouldn't.
- So yeah, Lao Yan is making fun of the fact that Shen Qiao asked him why he fed him in front of the waiter... Although we all know it's just Lao Yan being shameless yet again! Who's the non-sensical one, old man? Isn't it clearly you??

This isn't the first time they feed each other medicine. Ch. 24 is what this short is based on but Yan Wushi feeds Shen Qiao very bitter medicine again in ch. 35 (i think he purposefully made it bitter knowing Shen Qiao dislikes bitter food). Then Shen Qiao has to give medicine to Yan Wushi mouth to mouth in ch. 57 and in the extras after the novel (Extra 1) Shen Qiao is feeding medicine to Yan Wushi (which Mini Theater ep. 57 is based on).

This seems to be based on Ch. 24 (Minor Spoiler: this is before Yan Wushi falls in love with or at least acknowledges his growing feelings for Shen Qiao). Just like in this short, Yan Wushi was trying to feed Shen Qiao medicine and the waiter was so freaked out and wondering if the two were "cut sleeves" and was so worried Yan Wushi would like him (the waiter) as well and take him away so he ran. (guy must either be good looking or way too overconfident in his looks but I’m betting on the latter because no one is as good looking as Shen Qiao and Yan Wushi)!!!
