@ahhhh243010 ай бұрын
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again her books when you look at it from a writers perspective, she has good writing techniques. It’s just again the men in all of her books are toxic. If someone can understand the fact that the men are toxic, then it shouldn’t matter whether there a teenager, an adult or a three year-old. I actually enjoy Hoover’s books for this reason( She teaches what toxic relationships can look like. It may not be the best kind of teaching, but she does teach it). As well, when you look at this generation of teenage girls, they’re not as naïve as some of the past generations, statistically, this generation is the lesser naïve out of all of them. You’ll have to understand I’m not just teenage girls read them a few teenage boys and adults also read her books. Again, statistically most of Colleen Hoover books actually end up going to adult females.- just to restate that I don’t disagree with you at all but knowing the things that I know and doing the research that I’ve done her books aren’t that bad for teaching what toxic relationships can look like if you want to know what toxic relationships can look like.

I have personally never read this book but I read It ends with us because opinions were so controversial. I hated it. I removed every Colleen Hoover book from my reading list. The way she portrays characters in her book and assumes that specific type of behaviour is ok when it isn’t is absolutely disgusting. I think that she shouldn’t promote this kind of stuff. I also was told that her son sexually assaulted someone but she hid it and now supports sexual assault but I’m not sure about that part.
