I don't know why this was the first thing I thought of, but this reminds me of the retro areas in Super Meat Boy. I guess it's because it's a very modern-sounding song that's been converted into a much older medium. Amazing work as always!

It actually shouldn't be that hard since GameMaker stores all of its music and sounds as plain ogg files in the folder, there might be looping problems but if you just replaced the file then it should work
