The caldera is the area in the left facing crescent. The most recent eruption in the Santorini caldera was in 1950 on the island of Nea Kameni. Actually, counting ALL the earthquakes the total is more than a thousand! The quakes are centered in the vicinity of the undersea Kolombo caldera.

Where the cluster of tremors are located, northeast of Santorini the is an underwater volcano called Columbia. Just last year they discovered a new magma chamber under the volcano very close to the surface.

It's Santorini and Kolumbo. Kolumbo sprouted from a cross cross Faultline. They had 1000 EQ over a 2.0. It , Kolumbo erupted 2011,12,small amount.

Vesuvius had a 2.0 the end of last month and a 5.1 in Italy today. Campi Flegrei had Four EQ today. They should do a satellite image of the whole area to see the uplift 🤔
