its the other way around silly, the only proven safe way to release hostages is by ceasefire, so the war needs to stop for that to happe, but one side is adamant on it being a forever war, but pls do tell, since the hostages are so important, who is starving bombing and shooting hostages while waving white flags? surely if you care about hostages that matters also no?
