Yes I was hoping the housing market was going to crash and people could get into a house cheap, I still remember when it crashed in 2008, there were deals everywhere, brand new homes going for like 89k to 94k, my coworker bought a home for 94k brand new, those real estate investors were snatching everything up. She had bidding wars with some of them but managed to get a house...it paid off for her because she paid the house off completely, now all she pays is property taxes and insurance 😉 wish I had done this , I'm currently paying 1300 in rent and now they are adding 500 on top of that. Just last week my landlord sent me a letter in the mail stating that I have 60 days to leave and that they are not renewing my lease. I understand that there are some people who did not do right by the landlords by not paying their rent knowing that they was able to. But it's not fair for them to take it out on us tenants who did do what's right and paid our rent like we were supposed to and we fell on Hard Times. The biggest problem is that those that rely on the government to pay their rent, usually will rely on the government for the rest of their lives, and many landlords would rather rent to people who can actually pay their rent. Also there are many people pretending that they have no money to pay rent, and they are freeloading, so those people need to become homeless asap to learn a lesson. Poor renters, got a 2 year moratorium on rent, meanwhile, landlords still had to pay mortgage, utilities, taxes, upkeep, repairs, etc. Now the landlords want to sell to keep from losing more money and the tenants are pissed. Too damn bad, pay your bills or get out. Landlords are Not in the business to lose money. Edit: P.S. it is nice to see people standing up for landlords that lost tons of money, not to mention properties, because people did not pay during the plandemic. Usually everyone is whining about the landlords actually wanting money for these people to live in their houses. If you don't like it, buy your own home. If you can't buy work harder or smarter, it is not your landlords fault you are unable to buy a home.

Ray’s property was sold. Maybe the new landlord wants to renovate. Or maybe even live there themselves. I have a hunch it’s one of those things. Property owners have the right to do those things.

How is it legal to rent out a primary residence to someone? Everyone must be guaranteed their own property by right as a matter of law, otherwise what we have is manorialism; that is not freedom. That shouldn't be negotiable, it was the condition by which this nation declared it was independent. Rent is a tax. Where is the representation? I actually don't consent. I have grievance with it.

RENTERS HAVE LITTLE TO NO RIGHTS IN FLORIDA. I WAS JUST EVICTED OUT OF A HOME I RENTED FOR 10 YEARS AND WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING. THE LANDLORD REFUSED TO MAKE REPAIRS FOR THE HOUSE TO PASS INSPECTION. I WAS SERVED WITH NOTICE TO MOVE IN 30 DAYS. IT WAS A F-IN NIGHTMARE !!! IM 64, SLEEPING ON A FRIENDS COUCH AND PAYING 350.00 IN STORAGE FEES WHILE ON A WAITING LIST AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. I LIVE IN NORTH FLORIDA..... THE LANDLORDS ARE DOING THIS TO ALL RENTERS......ITS DEVASTATING.

I'm sorry that's against the law! How can the president, any state government, allow people to be evicted from their Apartments our homes because landlords want a double or triple the rent, what's going on in America? Why is this being allowed to happen? Who is behind this? And why? And again why is it being allowed to happen?
