Thousands surround White House with two-mile long "red line" banner for Palestine

On Saturday, June 8, thousands of pro-Palestine protesters surrounded the White House with two miles of red banner.
President Biden, while providing military and diplomatic support to Israel, had previously urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to strike the Palestinian city of Rafah, where many refugees have fled to, or risk crossing a "red line" and losing American support.
In spite of Israeli strikes subsequently hitting families sheltering in tents in Rafah, Biden has continued to supply weapons. For the activists, who had been protesting Biden for eight months, even Biden's own line had now been crossed.
