Very good video Dave, especially the idea of going back to basics with a small practice amp without pedals/effects. That looks like a Peavey Rage, I have the first series model, it does the job on its own for thrash with the right guitar. 🤘

Hell yeah brother! Less is definitely more! I think i sound best just pluged straight in with a little built in distortion from the amp. I’ve got a cheap Line 6 and a PRS SE Custom 24. Sounds killer bro! I play mostly Exodus, Priest and Motorhead
