Castro Valley? I was recently thinking it would be cool if some DIY kids fixed that joke of a "skate park" they put in the downtown.

This is sick, BUT don't add Portland to "High-Strength" concrete as that is already maxed out "excessively high cement contents can affect water permeability and durability of the masonry." Save it for the cheap yellow bags at the DIY!

Nice tutorial. You need to show people wearing eye protection, at the very least. Almost 30 years as a carpenter/contractor and PPE has saved my vision, lungs and hearing many times over. Nothing punk rock about fucking yourself up on the job, much less being a weekend warrior.

I’m a fan of these videos, but that obstacle they poured the coping on is awful. A tombstone corner with a hole in it?? Gimme a break. Build simple ramps and parks and obstacles. Let the skating be tech-not the spot construction.
