get back at it> you will only regret it more and more if you don't, i stop and start quite a lot but try to never have anymore than 6 months off at a time for whatever reasons' i need it in my life' its part of me, its who i am, who we all are

@dirtwizard37696 жыл бұрын
i feel it man. i miss being younger and skating with all the homies every single day. we didn't even have cars or a license. but somehow we got around to different spots every day. whether it be by bus or one of the homies parents or siblings would take us places, or just by skating for miles and miles. we had the stamina for that back then. everyone grew older though, got into relationships, had 40 hour work weeks and either didn't have the time or the energy for it anymore like they used to. i sure miss those days. that's what seems so great about doing this for a living or having skateboarding be a huge part of your life, you get to live those younger years even though you're much older now. and everyone who's dedicated to it will continue to rip til their bodies break and even after that, they will continue to have that obsession with skateboarding. i have yet to find anything in life that is as enjoyable and challenging as skateboarding. it's an ever evolving thing. you want to push yourself to become better and even once you do feel like you're good, you can continue to push yourself even further. that's the beauty of skateboarding, you can never eat enough of it no matter how good you are or how many spots you've hit. the world is a big place with many unexplored areas that are just waiting to be found and skated. i will forever love skateboarding no matter what happens in life.
@dirtwizard37696 жыл бұрын
get back into it man. get yourself a nice complete and you'll see how great it feels again. even just cruising down the street or to the corner store and back. do it here and there and soon you'll want to make more time for it if you can. that's when you'll start getting back out there with the homies and by the time you know it, you're somewhat of an actual skateboarder again! you won't regret it man, the only thing you'll get out of it is that joy you once had. and that itself is worth it man, even if you aren't busting out crazy shit. you probably know how fun it can be to just skate a little curb, the smallest dumbest things can sometimes bring the most joy. just having good times with the homies is all it's about ! hope you get back out there soon my dude.
