Quick question. Did the throw over design damage the paint underneath over time? Very tempted to a set of these but concerned about that.

Great video review. Just one question. Will a 6-pack of beer BOTTLES fit in there? Or would I have to put the bottles in individually?

Hi, I know this is old but whats the best way to clean the bags? I don't want to use chemicals that might damage them
@del_6195 жыл бұрын
I like how functional these bags are same goes for the newer escape bags. Easy on and off let’s you grab them and put them inside if you need to keep thieves away. Down side is if your going to get these bags now. They are no longer waterproof zippers and the waterproof covers only come with the escape bags.

I can't really tell, but could you fit a rolled up jacket in one of those?
@BikeNBird6 жыл бұрын
If it was a light wind breaker type jacket or maybe a light hoodie yes. Don't think it would fit a heavy leather jacket

Just got some of these used. Anyone have the install sheet that comes with them? Looks fairly straightforward but just want to double check myself mostly on the brackets.

Hey Birdman, I just watched this install video on the Thrashin Essential Bags and noticed you have a strap that goes from the front edge of the bag and wraps around your shock/shock mount. Wondering where you picked up that strap? Please advise.

Do you further pack/pad your DSLR when you bring it along? I would be nervous just popping in the accessory bag like that, but if you haven’t had any issues, it would certainly free up a lot of space!
@BikeNBird7 жыл бұрын
+Wicked Hazel nope no padding. If I took less stuff I would put something in to fill the void but there's enough stuff to keep it from moving too much. DSLRs these days are tough.

The bike I bought came with bags on it. I thought I’d take them off, but I quickly realized how important they are. Even the day I bought it would’ve been difficult without he bags (I’d have no way to take my paperwork home). They’re awesome for all your little things so you don’t have to keep stuff in your pockets (which I hate)

@BikeNBird7 жыл бұрын
+Dan Thompson im not mad, just calling a spade a spade. You've got 3 friends with positive opinions... great. Now look at the HUNDREDS of horror stories online. And when you're done with that, go look at the dozens of polls put up on dyna forums where leather pro CRUSHES them every single time. I would love some leather pros but they're also 3x the cost of these (which hold literally everything I need as demonstrated in this video). If I don't need bigger bags then why would I fork out the extra cash for them?

To be more fair, a HD Roadglide or Street Glide, or any HD touring bike would have looked better, but I am a douchebagger rider and my opinion means jackshit!
