@xytsdx2 Metallica formed in October 28th, 1981 Paul Baloff also joined Exodus in 1981 (Exodus actually formed in 1980). Metal Church Red Skies demo was also from 1981 - some regard this as the first Thrash Metal demo. Blind Illusion actually started in 1979. But essentially I think it is fair to say that 1981 was a milestone year for Thrash Metal.

It's cost me thousands of pounds over the years. When I started my LP/CD collection there were no such thing as downloads (or KZbin) lol. Magazines like Metal Forces (UK) were a great help as well.

@AlEj01990 Each of those bands in their own show is one thing, but playing together I don't think you could sleep for a week. After Slayer destroyed everyone at Download 2004, I was buzzin for days! I saw Megadeth in Norwich UEA a couple of years ago and they were awesome. I was just playin Dark Angel -Time does not heal in the car and nearly crashed at least 3 times LOL Thrash til Death! You'll love the vids. Top 10s galore - and some very obscure bands as well!

Dark angel - black prophecies would have been a better example of dark angel, I still think their album darkness descends is the best album of all thrash, probably of all time.
