You have fabulous makes this week! I love the simplicity fabric! I love your little bit of Jesus-please don’t stop. Many people, even if not Christian, believe in a higher power and these can be a way to get them thinking about the power, width and depth of our God.

I heard someone on TV doing commentary on the eclipse who called it a "cosmic coincidence" I was astounded that anyone could look at it and truly believe it was a coincidence! Everything had to be in perfect alignment, including the sizes of the sun and moon and the distance between them and the earth. It was an amazing work of God! 💗

That sarong fabric is beautiful. I love anything Cath Kidson. You did a great job with the UFOs. You have inspired me to make seersucker pajamas. ❤

The pleated, line drawing print skirt is so cute and looks great on you! Love seeing all your makes! Amazes me how you go from one project to the next so easily, and seamlessly making changes as you go! Wish I could do that.

You were very productive Jen!! Enjoyed reliving the fun time we had in the past few weeks. I love the cute Gertie shirt and the curtain pants. It looks cute on you! I have my sarong in the wash this very moment. Definitely going to use that tassle hem on a cute dress or top. Hope your weekend is warm and wonderful!! Love you❤

Hi Jen: When I was 4 or 5 yrs. old in the early '60s, my mother made me 2 seersucker outfits - each with a top and matching peddle-pusher (now called capris) pants. One was pink striped, the other blue striped. As soon as I saw your thrifted pajamas, I knew it had to be seersucker fabric. Brings back a lot of memories! The wrap top you made - the model on the envelope cover must have been 4'-nothin' to make the top look not so cropped! I've seen a few tops that don't look cropped, but end up much shorter than expected. I guess we (those of us over 5'5") need to really check pattern piece length before we cut into our fabric. Your skirt made with the line drawing/'50s models - looks great with the top you paired with it. Really cute!!! Thanks so much for putting together the #FridaySews channel. Friday morning I wake up, grab my cup of coffee, then watch Carole's post first and then wait for other YT video notifications. 🥰

You done so much this week 😮❤. Love your refashion of those PJs, they look super cute on you 🥰. Yay, you made the Lisette dress , can't wait to hear all about that. That skirt you made for our get together looks so nice on you, perfect with the black refashioned top. I'm not sure what you were worried about. Also I LOVE an angled pocket, if you are going to have a pocket then it should be seen 😂. What a busy lady you have been 💕😘💕

Sewing like a maniac is right!! I can’t do that late night sewing without creating a lot of extra work for myself in unpicking and redoing. So many nice makes. You might find that the cute skirt that you find a little snug will loosen as you wear it. I have a similar style skirt that after I have worn it a little while it gets too big. You accomplished a lot. I love the paper bag waist on your refashioned pj’s.

Lololol. I would laughing at the time count. Because I have done that thinking. Oh, it's only gonna take me 15 minutes to do blah, blah, blah, and it ends up being hours.😅

Jen! Oh! I love your skirt with the fashion plate ladies!!! I like making PJ’s but I have to figure out what size I am on pants! They just swallow me! Did you use you new iron with all this sewing? I don’t see an IV pole🤣
