US does fund Pakistan, just that they look the otherwise due to their geopolitical needs. You can hide stuff from uncle Sam, but in the long term it's very difficult. Blindly going into US camp will be a disaster, without first robust internal development. China had it's own issues, like the Island chains, which includes the Taiwain and other south china sea regions. So, it is indeed a bit more nuanced, but just throwing your hat in one camp or the other will be highly foolish.

The main reason of deindustrialization of India is the legal sytem at whole, beurocracy, legislature is corrupt, judiciary is weird and don't start at police, this system breaks the will of any entrepreneur who tries to innovate or do something Good for the country, until that is fixed nothing Good is gonna happen to our economy.
