Hello Marie, I enjoy watching your videos. You have a loving family. I was born and grew up in the Caribbean Islands growing food in the ground. Now in the U.S., I am learning to grow food in containers. I have done the okra leaf pruning to get new okra on the okra tree. Thank you. I know we have to use what we have available in the Caribbean but I would like you and your family to move away from planting your food and herbs in tires. Stay in good health and wellness. Blessings.

All good tips. I always try to plant herbs and seasoning (so peppers included) first because as a proper West Indian 🇹🇹 you know we don't like bland food 😃 and it always tastes so much better picked fresh that day rather than after sitting around in a fridge for even just a few days. My second focus is fruit trees because they take a long time to begin to be productive so they could be working on establishing their root systems while I get on with other things. I am working on beginning to grow vegetables this year. I struggle with a couple things so maybe you can address those in a future video. I am sure you prob'ly covered it in the past but...1. How much to plant - I want to plant enough in case of pest attack or other misfortune, but not so much that I have no way to eat or store it all and I really hate to see stuff wasted so spoilage is a real concern but I also don't want a shortage myself. 2. Succession planting. Same issue with the fear of overplanting. How long do you wait before deciding to plant a next set of something? 3. Also, as you've been gardening for a while...which crops have you found to be perennials? My herbs and seasonings are, as well as my kale, but I use the 'cut and come again' method rather than harvesting the whole thing. All the major YT gardeners have to contend with winter which we don't experience so peppers, tomatoes etc. grow year round.

You are right, I posted videos on all those topics before but from time to time I revisit them so please stay tuned
