Sad thing about having stick straight hair is that even though you curl it and spray 200 kg of hairspray on it, it will still be straight 5 mins after you go out.

Girl advice ❤️ I use to do bantu knots but they took wayyy too long! So here is a little tip using no heat! First shower at night try to shower not to late so their is enough time to let ur hair dry completely. When you get out the shower towel dry your hair about 10-15% dry. Then part ur hair in the middle of in the side depending on how u like it :) then make 3-8 regular three strand braids the tighter and more braids the better and tighter the wave/curls look! Use elastics and tie it off about half an inch before ur hair ends. Then take a blow dryer and dry it on a low setting about 20% dry, then u can go to sleep! This process only takes 10 minutes for me while Bantu knots take at least 40. Then in the morning take out ur elastics and spray hairspray this gives a very beach summer wave/ curl ! Hope this helps let me know if u tried this out❤️ Edit: I forgot to say this but this works better if you do this at least 2 hrs before u sleep and get at least 8 hrs of sleep!

I LOVE this tutorial! My hair is very stubborn and does NOT want to hold a curl very long. So it doesn't seem worth it to take forever to curl it when it's basically almost flat again a couple hours later.. ...but I actually tried combining all three methods and that seems to do the trick for my hair! First I did the overnight thing with the french braid, and then I put my hair in the high ponytail and then curled it with the 5/8" curling iron. My curls lasted all day!! And it didn't take long at all! So thank you so much! I love you and your tutorials I watch them all!

Hi Kayley! I really loved the third style in this video, I'm always on the lookout for easy natural looking styles. I have been trying to replicate Emma Swan's hairstyle from season 2-4 of Once Upon A Time but haven't quite been able to get it perfect. Could you give me some tips?
@starlaedge82689 жыл бұрын
I alway use method 3. I always have. I have extremely thick, yet straight hair and if I curl it down I always end up giving up halfway through because I get confused and it takes so long. It takes me about 1 hour to curl my hair in a ponytail if that helps explain how thick my hair is. You can only imagine how long it would take to curl it down. Your guess is as great as mine since I never curl it down.
@erinjohannsen57819 жыл бұрын
+Starla Edge My hair is that thick too! It takes FOREVER and then 10 minutes after it just falls down and looks practically straight again so there isn't really a point to even attempt to curl it. Does yours do the same? Any trick you have found to make them stay?
@starlaedge82689 жыл бұрын
Mine always basically does too. But after I let the curl fall off of the iron, either hold the curl with your hand or use an alligator clip to hold it for 3-10 seconds or until it cools. I like to put them in the clips and just leave them until I finish my entire ponytail then let it set for another 3 minutes then take them all out, take the ponytail out, then shake my head pretty violently lol. I use big sexy hair's volumizing hair spray in hold- 7 shine- 7 and when I do that, my curls last for a couple of days. Hope this helped😁
@jenl-g9 жыл бұрын
The third method was really helpful. I had to make 2 pigtails because my hair isn't as long, but that allowed me to lay down a great "base" of curls. It was so much easier than trying to find everything all the way around to curl it! Thank you!
@KerCoghi10 жыл бұрын

Same thing! My hair is curly but it sucks! Wverday last year for school I just curled it every other day and the curls stayed in from the day before. I recently bought a Chi Flat Iron (splurge) and it works wonders and straightens my hair in 20 minutes and stays in all day. Before I had a sucky one and I had to straighten for almost 2 hours and it only stayed for 1-2 hours ugh
@jordynbeck15239 жыл бұрын
I have curly hair and used to straighten it before I curled it as well, BUT the past year or two I've been just curling my natural hair from the get go and I get so many compliments on it. It's just enough to touch up you're natural curls so that they look more uniform. It still looks a little different than this but it's definitely worth a try! Probably a larger barrel wand would help as well.

@beautybyannaceleste10 жыл бұрын
"silent partner" has to do with the music she utilized from KZbin's royalty free music library. I don't think you have to give them any credit for using the music as it is royalty free but I think I'm going to start adding a similar slide to the end of my videos just in case so haha thanks Kayley! :)

Anna Celeste sbiiine Yes, it's just the music credit, which I've always had at the end of my videos in case people care to know who did the music :). It is from KZbin's Music Library, and I don't think we're required to credit that music, but I always do because I'd rather be safe than sorry ;D!

I hate it, I really wish i had straight hair like you U_U

Omg I'm the same what I did was I bought one of those instyler thingies, the ones with the barrel that spins, and with the same tool I can straighten the top and curl the bottom and it saves me soooo much time. I have the one inch one and I use it twice a week (after I wash my hair and let it air dry I curl it and it lasts until the next wash). It takes me like 30 minutes and my hair is really long.
@PameDz9 жыл бұрын

Pame Diaz Same. I don’t even know why I watched this video. My hair is thin too. If I curled my hair like this girls, the top of my head would be frizzy and weird. I have to legit straighten my hair first to do curls which defeats the purpose because once I straighten it, the artificial curls don’t hold.

It irritates me when people wand their hair and don't curl the ends

Omg same I mean if you leave a little bit uncurled then that's not bad but when people leave like 2 inches of hair uncurled hell no

Sara Galesic when you don’t curl the ends but you do a looser twist of a strand on a curling iron or flat iron it gives you beach waves. That’s what I do because it looks nicer!☺️

Thanks for such an awesome, wonderful, helpful video! Would you consider doing a video showing us how to create some wavy styles with hot rollers?? Thanks again!

*You know just another simple way to do this overnight is just slightly damp your hair (tip the thicker the hair less damping needed) comb it then section them in to medium sized braids(I do 6 for my entire head but you can do less or more depending on your hair type) braid them up then lastly put a little more water on the braids and sleep with it and taaa daaa use hair spray and your good. This is a trick for a little small curls nothing huge!*

For style #2 the Suave Professionals Curl Defining Gel Serum could help define those curls (: also braiding it while it's a bit damp.
