His lyrics in the song, the chop and screw at the end, and several other features of the song PAY HOMAGE to that specific rap scene and the OGs in it, especially Project Pat (who he shouts out twice btw). I’ve seen plenty of US-based rappers steal Pat’s flow and not even shout out Project Pat, why don’t you keep the same energy then? You probably have different standards because we’re foreigners, even though this guy went above and beyond where your own guys often don’t even do that. And guess what, Project Pat was happy with him, shouted him out on Instagram Stories and came on his live for over 40 mins offering a colab with him and Juicy J. Seems that you didn’t hear that, but the OG himself heard it very clearly. It’s wild that a person from half way across the world knows more about the scene and how all this works than you do.
