You nailed it. Though I didn't see any Old Bay on the shrimp you get a pass. A pinch of dill with the spuds too. Ice cold beer to wash it down with and summer has begun. Thanks guys.

Sam, speaking of standing around, grilling, with a drink in your hand, with friends, you should have a contest where subscribers can win a chance to sit around your beautiful patio, enjoying some fantastic libations, listening to the gardeners next door while you film an episode, then get their reactions to your fine cooling. I know I would be there! Seriously, think about it! Why should Max and Chance be the only lucky ones to sample?

I cut tri-tip like you did the ribs. Cooks faster and I feel you get more of the charred surface area and seasoning/ marinade. Make for great sandwiches with smoked gouda, mayo and a good onion bun. Simple and easy delicious.
@The_Dougie Жыл бұрын
I love tri tip. How thin do you slice it?
@richarddevine205 Жыл бұрын
@@The_Dougie I usually end up with 7 cubes by cutting the tip off halfing the rest then just equal sized cubes depending on the size of your tri-tip. I actually had it last night for dinner lol.

Great idea. But you can still do plenty of his recipes camping! I followed his lamb marinade recipe and tzatziki recipe, and brought the marinated lamb to my birthday camping trip. My dad grilled it that night and it was awesome.

Sam, you inspired me the other day to make the potato salad. It was spectacular! I added chopped hard boiled egg instead of bacon. The tang from the yogurt and lemon juice was great. I never would have thought to add ranch seasoning, but that really gave it a lift. No more boring mayonnaisey potato salad for me! I asked the husband if he'd want bacon in it next time, and he told me it was perfect as it was. Of course, he would say that, he's not stupid.

One day i would love to see Sam face off against several KZbinrs like Guga, Max the meat guy etc on who can cook their own best BBQ signature dish.
@gl7257 Жыл бұрын
It shouldn't be a competition that way Sam will actually do the collaboration. Sam would be scared to compete against another youtuber. Probably afraid of any fallout if Sam loses the competition. But if he were to compete I would like to see Sam's best burger vs Guga best burger.

@FloWoodEnT123 Жыл бұрын
I've wanted to see him collaborate with them for years now! I got into them all around the same time. But I learned that it's harder for him to work with people like Guga because Sam is on the west coast while Guga is on the east coast. There's just not a lot of chances for them to get acquainted like that.

Throw Joshua in there
@hotfiyah Жыл бұрын
Guga doesn't really cook though...he just sprinkles some salt pepper and garlic powder on everything, throws it in a plastic bag, cook it then sear it. He relies more on the quality of his meat than his cooking skills, which is why he can't make a mediocre cut very well.
