Since you mentioned it I had to look up “rubellite” to see how to say it. I had thought it was pronounced as you said, but my dictionary gives “ru-BELL-ite.” It is a variety of tourmaline varying in color from a pale rose red to deep ruby. I hope you had a very happy birthday.
