Breaking benjamin, skillet (specifically comatose) and Billy Talent have a similar sound, if you're still looking for it. There are a couple other ones that focus less on grindy/grungey riffs as well, like thousand foot krutch, nine lashes and red. And of course there are the really well known ones like green day, nirvana, and 5FDP.

Chevelle is another great one for this. Hella slept on. Try Sleep Apnea, Don't Fake This, or The Clincher by them. There are many more, but those should scratch an itch enough to get you finding more for yourself :) oh, and if you're looking something lyrically/thematically similar, try their songs Clones or Emotional Drought. Or the one everyone seems to know but won't know it's them, The Red. As that was their most recognizable and most played song from the early 2000's. Have fun!
