I'm living in Antalya too, and it's a complete massacre. Fire can't be stopped because of both wind from Mediterranean and lack of fire fighting aircraft. In Mediterranean region of Turkey summer fires are common, they can be prevented because they are natural ignitions and small scaled fires. Right now the fires in Manavgat, Marmaris and Adana are planned and executed by syrian PKK arsonist. 3 of them got caught yesterday in Manavgat. 8 out of 10 fires happening right now is made and intended by Pkk.

Also right now about 30 neighborhoods across manavgat got damaged or completely burnt, hundreds of greenhouses are burnt too, those neighborhoods were at countryside but fires are moving towards district center. Also Turks say it's a lie that Greece didn't send help, then they say "GrEeCe Is So RaCiSt" Also when Erdoğan is in trouble he always blames Pkk but my dad find proof that this isn't Pkk's fault. We are two countries with so many similarities, and instead of embracing those similarities, we tend to embrace our differences with hatred being the outcome. So we should always accept someone's offer for help, even if it's coming from an "enemy" or a friend. Also a very controversial topic is the one where instead of actually doing something to prevent a catastrophy of any kind, governments seem to prefer blaming someone else for their inability of acting quick or acting at all. This results in people believing that others are at fault and fueling hatred towards them, instead of simply recognising their problems, and looking forward to fixing them. Just like Donald Trump did with China, where him and his administration blamed them for the pandemic and their inability to deal with it, Erdogan and literally every other leader does the same. Why you ask? Because it's much easier blaming someone else for your irresponsibility than actually doing something. We're very similar as people, and we need to figure that out before something worse happens. I have many Turkish friends (On the Internet at least) and I love Turkey in general, but ultimately it's the governments that have made a lot of people come to the conclusion that we're enemies, so they can make them neglect the fact that they're ruining the country all by themselves. I hope the Turkey finds a way out of this current bloody event, and I once again send my condolences to the people that have been affected by these terrible wildfires. Have a great day.
