Three Entirely Different Rivers In One Day | Hokkaido Lure Fishing

This time I went fishing with my wife. I wanted to experience the strong pull of rainbow trout, so I went to a river where rainbow trout likely could be caught.
The river we planned to enter first had a strong current due to heavy rain that started falling in the middle of the night before, so we gave up on going upstream quite quickly. In the next river, the water level was a bit higher than usual we were hopeful. Although the water volume higher upstream was not a problem, we found some salmons spawning which explained why small fish were not coming out to chase. We were forced to change the location again. It was near noon, when we entered the final spot of the day. Immediately I managed to catch a decent rainbow trout, but since we entered the difficult time of day, there was a long silence afterwards. In the end, it was a day with not many catches, but we were able to investigate various points and it was a fun day.
