Great one, with extra special views. It's a good thing that it's a little difficult to get there, otherwise it would be over-run with crowds. Yes, overnighting with a storm rolling through sounds good.

Did the trail of the initial road shave or add time to the hike? Also that trail was steeper you mentioned?

There’s no way in March. In WA state the green leaf plants aren’t like that, and definitely not ripe berries. So probably like August.

It was indeed in August. Early in the month, during the week so less people.
