Let’s not forget about being swatted by the 3 foot claws of a Therizinosaurus, head butted with extreme force by a pachycephalosaurid, getting pulverised by the tail club of an Ankylosaurid or getting constantly scratched and pecked at by an Ornithomimid. Also nice to hear that the shredding power of my Carcharodontosaurid beauties are finally being appreciated, never underestimate the true serrated power of the carcharodontosaurids.

@@marcoramos4540 My fav film is the Jurassic franchise and love for dinosaurs, so it was heartbreaking to see what an absolute shit it was, Only Jurassic park and lost world (Speilberg) showed us film full of greatness. Jurassic world made the franchise into an silly Marvel hero bs villain movie, Dinosaurs are not good or evil, It's irritating when people mention indoraptor and indominus as villains and Blue and rexy as heroes, They are just animals with their survival instincts, Not too mention Claire and others are to blame for Indominus and indoraptor, They were designed like that, to be an aggressive killing machine it's not their fault it's the scientists. And Let's talk about Dominion, Nobody gives a shit about Locusts like what the f was that locusts? Seriously? And they never brought back My boy Spino just because idiot fans hated that scene in JP 3 so we never got to spino in the movie and instead we get the innocent Giga. The Og cast did great but I just wanted more, It wasn't enough at all, In the all 3 hr shit movie. Only good scenes was the therizinosaurus scene, While Malta scene, pyroraptor. Check out gaming beaver's review he mentioned all the flaws in the movie, his 1hr review was way more enjoyable than the movie check it out if interested

Or gored by a bull, boar, or hippo. Wolves are one of the worst, though, as coursing predators. Similar to RPR, but even less fortunate. More often than not they rip chunks out of their prey as they flee until they bleed out or fall to shock, as the only thing they really have to grab onto something is their mouth. In case you were wondering why man's best friend still loves chasing things. 💀

Like many animals, raptors have no reason to finish you if dinner is already served. Killing the prey before eating is usually only doen by predators unable to keep it down, mostly due to the strength ratio not being in their favor.
@j4h00_o
@j4h00_o Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if raptors had any predators, but if they did then that’d be a reason to eat prey alive. It might take too long to kill prey, so it’s have to quickly fill up and run before a larger predator tried to steal the carcass. This is something that happens with hyenas and lions, pretty fascinating!
@drakonos79

I do think being eviscerated by a raptor kick is still possible- even the RRM is hypothetical. Cassowaries, essentially modern-day dromaeosaurs, use their claws for that very purpose. I don’t think anyone wants to end up like novel Nedry.
@TheDinoFax
@TheDinoFax Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the slashing theory has long since been disproven. Excluding the two largest species (and even for them it's a stretch), raptor claws were not well designed for a slashing motion, and wounds of that type would be superficial. In all the tests they ran, only Utahraptor was able to cut through a pigs skin, and even then, it was a shallow cut. While it's a cool thought, current science points in the opposite direction

This is even true in the King Kong game. The young V. rexes are worse than the adults because they are faster, more agile and don't need an open space to fit in. And unlike the Venatosaurus, of which they are roughly the same size, they are far stronger, needing multiple shotgun blasts to kill and can break stone structures, negating some shelters.

Oh yeah, juvies are slept on. In the first JP the scene with Ed Regis and the baby rex is far more haunting than anything the adult does in that book in my opinion. I'd love a horror movie where an adult rex is like the slow, stealthy slasher killer, think Michael Myers. But the juvies are the ones chasing down people, getting the most kills. You could evade the adult, but the babies, it is just a 'be faster than the other guy' situation. God I wanna see that in a movie.

The one about raptors where they will eat you alive. That's most carnivores cuz they want to get fed as quick as possible so they don't have to stay out in the open where bigger things can come over and eat them or scare them away from the kill so they will eat as much and as quick as possible. So if something bigger comes around and steals the food then they will possibly be full or almost full by the time they get kicked out.

Let's not forget Tyrannosaurus Rex with its bone crushing bite. This powerful bite force of a fully grown Tyrannosaurus Rex made it one of the most strongest land-based carnivores to be ever found in the Maastricthician Cretaceous Period. The Tyrannosaurus Rex has a powerful bite force that could be exerted up to 12,000 pounds per square inch, they could crush steel easily. These powerful jaws allowed Tyrannosaurus Rex to crush and pierce bone and given the fact that this bite force weighs at over 6 tons, it's assumed that Tyrannosaurus Rex could break the massive horns of a fully grown Triceratops, meaning that Tyrannosaurus Rex had one of the most strongest bite force of any carnivorous dinosaurs yet known...

Gruesome ways YOU could end these dinosaurs: Triceratops: Stand at the edge of a cliff. Wait for it to charge at you. Dodge last second and vola, the Triceratops would struggle mid-air as it splats on the ground with the utmost velocity. Carchardontosaurus: Since it’s a juvinle, there is a chance that you could intimidate it enough for it to give up hunting you. Gather a lot of sticks and big leaves, gather some vines, and make a scary display to intimidate it away. *the GRUESOME way* Lead the carchar to any large herbivore in the area. The herbivore would immediately target the carchar, because, unlike you, it recognizes the carchar as a threat. Let’s say it’s a sauropod, for example. The sauropod would knock the carchar over with its feet, possibly with the spikey bit, making the carchar extremely injured already. Then the sauropod would put its foot above the bleeding carchar, and stomp it to the ground. Leaving it as a mushed pile of meat and bones. Stegosaurus: Stand next to a tree and let the stegosaurus come to you. As it swings it’s tail, dodge it’s tail to make it stuck in the tree, and then run away. Eventually, the stego would ethier slowly starve to death,or be found by predators and slowly eaten alive.

Getting eaten alive is a primal fear. Most predators like bears, wolves, hyenas and wild dogs tear apart and eat their prey alive.

"Raptor Prey Restraint" (RPR) model of predation, proposes that dromaeosaurids killed their prey in a manner very similar to extant accipitrid birds of prey: by leaping onto their quarry, pinning it under their body weight, and gripping it tightly with the large, sickle-shaped claws.

Most mammalian hunters use their specialized canines to deal devastating concentrated damage to a critical area like the windpipe, spine or brain. Being killed by a dinosaur would have been far more painful.

I think the most terrifying way is still to be targeted by a large Dromeosaur. Likely scenario is that the bear sized animal sinks its giant foot claw into you, pinning you to the ground as it starts to rip you apart with its sharp teeth. If a T-Rex bites you, you die instantly, so that’s that. There’s a certain size range in which most animals in that range can be the most devastatingly brutal in how they take you out. Let’s take say Pachcephalosaurus. That animal is easily big enough to kill you, but not in one go, and it would do so by repeatedly headbutting you with its thick skull, breaking bone after bone and causing massive internal bleeding until you slowly and painfully succumb to your injuries. Medium sized Theropods probably generally have a severe capacity to make your passing as unpleasant as possible.
