The reason the "cutscene" happens is because you have on the Attack (Hit) Condition. So when the condition is met, it automatically plays out the attack, which is why they'd get teleported and wouldn't be able to block or do anything against it. It's like how in BT3 certain attacks would do max damage in the story mode, the characters get teleported and it plays out like a cutscene.

I will help clarify the "Cutscene" as a fellow creator. When you apply the "Next super does 999%," it makes that super unblockable and will always hit. Doto was right-- it is that code that forces a cutscene that forces the super to always hit the person. I hope that clears things up.

35:06 This has probably been pointed out a couple of times already but the conditions of this setting makes it so that when Goku’s Kamehameha hits, he’ll do another one that is guaranteed to hit for max damage. “Blast Hit 1” basically means that whatever their Blast 1 skill is will guaranteed hit by basically putting them into a cutscene. Instead you probably should’ve set it to “Blast 1”. The “Blast 1” condition means that after whatever condition is fulfilled, in this case Goku lands a Kamehameha, immediately after he will fire another one without locking you into a cutscene.

The cutscene shit was definitely an effect of the mission, not a capsule. I hopped in custom battle mode myself to see exactly how. If I had to guess, there might have been an effect along the lines of: Condition: Attack (Hit) Target: Goku (MUI) Details 1: Opponents Details 2: Blast 1 Effect: Blast Hit 1 Target: Goku (MUI) Details: 999% Then two similar conditions for his Blast 2 and Ultimate Blast, respectively. Rhyme's desired effect would be as he said, "Every time he does a super or ultimate the next time he does it, it does max damage." However, the ACTUAL effect would be "The first time you are hit by each of his moves, he forces an unblockable hit of the same move doing max damage." idk, still new to custom battles so I might be off one. (also, at 5:15 rhyme totally gets cutscened lol )

The second super that does max damage is 100% a cutscene the only way to make a super do that much damage in a custom battle is to force a super to hit AKA a cutscene where the other character literally can’t react or guard

Tips for the custom community. The buffs only last 10 seconds. So set the buffs to trigger every time the timer hits 10 seconds or more while resetting the timer everytime. And you have permanent buffs. Don’t forget to set the timer reset else the buffs will stack infinitely to the max. Or you can totally do it on purposes if you want to get one tapped. 😂

I already commented it on Dotos video, but if you are on classic controls and don't like rotating your stick during clashes (annoying + stick drift), you can switch to pressing square in the settings. For that, you have to switch your speed clashes to standard in controls. FOR LESS BROKEN CONTROLLERS IN THE WORLD
