Three-judge bench declare Finance Act 2023 as illegal, null and void

The Court of Appeal has upheld that the Finance Act 2023 is unconstitutional, null and void In a ruling which will have far reaching fiscal consequences on the revenue raising measures of the country, now that the Finance Bill 2024 was dropped.
