The property owner reached out to “clean this old house” for help in cleaning and restoring his ancestral family home site that has been abandoned since his father passed away. He wanted to restore it to honor his father. I don’t know if this is a volunteer service or you have to pay for the work that was done, but Why should it be given to the workmen who cleaned it up?

If the 'bones' of the house are intact and the integrity of the frame remains solid? You are good to go. What a wonderful thing to watch...Former building super here - these are always a joy. To see something thought to be unsav-able -come back to life....wow. God bless all who are involved in this heartwarming endeavor....This is in Vietnam, I believe?
