My husband & I have an exact Gemini Sun/Moon Conjunction. We are never bored! As in traditional Chinese pairing of royal children to their future betrothed, my husband is the Gemini SUN & I'm the MOON. They would also pair a female Sun to a matching male Moon, if that's all that could be found. But the preference was Sun = Male, Moon = Female and as exact degree as possible.

This is an amazing analysis - and very correct. One of my besties is a Gemini and ... YEP! She is trustworthy, spiritually evolved, and so intelligent I can hardly keep up with her. But we are both pushing 60, so we have both had a lot of time to learn to express the higher octave of our signs.

Love this- yesterday evening my 11 year old - Gemini sun kiddo and I were on our way home over a very long bridge over the ocean that we travel daily- it’s sunset and on the left is dark beautiful ominous sky with the moon shining above the clouds- on the right the gorgeous bright Orange sun setting over the ocean . He was looking at both sides and said “the dark side- the light side, both are the good side” ♊️

I absolutely loved this video! I am a Gemini sun sign and find that everything you said rang true. I feel I am always in a state of being able to see both sides of things and often times could argue both sides on just about any topic. I find myself often being the mediator in relationships because of this. I was actually just talking to my mom about this today (oh how I love the synchronicity)! Sure, I can find it challenging and frustrating sometimes to make a decision, but I also love that I am able to understand that wholeness cannot be without the sun of the parts. I studied at Maharishi International University and what I found to be a common experience for me was that the words in the lecture often bypassed my intellect and spoke directly to my soul. As If the truth of the knowledge has always been within me all along. We're not 2 faced, we simply see both sides of all things. As represented by the Lovers in tarot, we inherently understand the dual nature of the masculine and feminine energies within. We can definitely be indecisive, because we again see all the potentialities and often more than one choice seems favorable. We can take things very seriously when it is warranted, but we often see the humor in situations which lends to our air of nonchalance and mirth. We are endlessly intrigued and have a voracious appetite for learning. 💜

As a Gemini sun, I relate to much of this. I’ll start out feeling one way, and then will see “the other side of things” and change my view point. As the Gemini sun/stellium who's been around a lot of other gems, I definitely agree with the tendency towards pessimism and almost dissociating when it comes to "wow nothing really matters in life" feelings, and I think the toxic route is "well might as well put myself first" but like in Chani's book I think the evolved Gemini usually ends up finds meaning in learning and disseminating (or rather the toxic gem learns to manipulate and disseminates gossip, while the good gem learns to rhyme and disseminates sick rap lyrics). I agree Geminis are good at poking holes in arguments or finding the shadow side of something, but a lot of us are also good at finding the light or silver lining of a bad situation and people come to me for being cheered up because I can usually offer a different perspective that makes something bad better. The indecision is real though. 😬 Look I hate it about myself too!

I love your content. I have been looking forward to this video in particular since you started this series, but if I may be honestly, I felt a lack of deeper, meaningful insight with this one. I hope you don’t take any offense. Please. I am so grateful for all the free content you give every day, but this felt incomplete to me. Maybe it’s because I’m a Gemini rising and I examine how that plays out for me all day. One of the reasons I was drawn to astrology was because these dualistic, light vs dark energies have always been so strong in me and understanding them has been a theme in my existence for as long as I can remember thinking. Why am I like this? It’s been a part of understanding who I am for ever. Why can’t I be more like other people. Who know who they are and what they want? Why am I two people? I used to read horoscopes for my Virgo sun but couldn’t help but feel drawn to Gemini. It wasn’t until I discovered my chart that I fully understood that my gut was truly right. Please understand that everything you said was spot on. Especially for me, and the ups and downs my personal journey has taken me on. To be honest, I have and can even fit the stereotypes, but what is going on deep down is so much more complex, just as you’ve described. My hang up is that, I guess I’ve known that these energies have been at the root of it for years, but why???? Why does Gemini and Virgo have to descend into darkness? My Mercury is also in Libra. All these contradictions. All these perspectives. All these dichotomies. All these opposing forces. They make me feel pulled apart and broken and stuck but they also make me feel free. Open. Enlightened to something that others are blind to? I always joke that I’m a secret genius that understands the world in ways most can not, or I’m completely insane. I feel both. Always. I feel and think and know both things, contradictory things, always. It is a very rare moment when I’m fully aligned with one perspective or thought. But why???? I guess I was hoping for more of the WHY to be answered. Why must the Mercury ruled signs behave and manifest this way? I know this is a long comment. I never comment. My sun is at 29 Gemini (Mars in Gemini as well). I have a ton of interests and love to learn new things. That can look like flightiness to other people, especially because once I figure it out, I find something else to try. I was teaching myself to draw, and my Capricorn MIL says, "That's great! What are you going to do with it?" I'm like, "what do you mean, do?" It's about the learning and curiosity and challenging myself for the fun of it, but it comes off as not serious. There's just so much to do, let's do it all!!! But with Cancer rising & moon, the things that stick are gardening, cooking, knitting, and man, I love my two daughters as much as my racquet sports--it's a good combo!

In sidereal astrology I have a gemini rising with moon and mercury while in western astrology it’s my 12th house with ketu and venus. Whenever I use my higher mind,buddhi, I feel like a gemini cause I see both sides of the coin, acintya bedha bedha tattva as you mentioned, and it’s a never ending chain of perspectived, inspirations and solutions. In this way I love being in my own company, I never get bored, but I have to be carefully to not get easily irritated by others since they can’t connect on the same level! What a fascinating dissertation on Gemini. With regard to light, it certainly deepens my perspective on my own chart. I always looked at my Leo ascendant connecting with my Pisces sun. And now it speaks to a whole added dimension once I consider my moon at 21 Gemini to my Sun at 21 Pisces. There are very clear identifications with playing in life, not taking things terribly seriously, always seeing things equally from many perspectives, etc. But this idea of really idealizing external things, especially people, very Jupiterian optimistic expansion with Mercury and Venus in Pisces. And that stellium at perfect odds with a head over heart, sinking realization that the shadow must too be alchemized, as natal Saturn joins this moon in Gemini. What a great layer of depth to add in to the mix. Thanks for this one!

I never felt like the negative gemini stereotypes. I have struggled with some of those dynamics at times like anyone else, but it hasn't defined my experience. I think when people speak to sun/moon/rising and don't look to the whole chart they end up missing the truth which is the biggest flaw of popular mainstream astrology. I quit reddit astrology because every post was generalizations and stereotypes and astrology was being used to seperate instead of unite, to create misunderstandings instead of understanding. Geminis can be very spiritual and trustworthy, it's about the whole chart not just a placement or two. I'm a Gemini/Capricorn with a lot of neptune/jupiter/12th house influence. I do struggle with commitment and "flakiness" but I've got a lot of moon/abandonment issues and mercury squares pluto so I need space until I figure that out. Unfortunately society's desire for easy answers has us caraciturizing each other even when we have useful tools like astrology that are supposed to heal that. 🧡✌️ Edit: Also that "and consciousness" thing is real. I feel that others see me as inconsistent or frequently opposing, but I just appreciate the validity of everything simultaneously. I get frustrated now by the "either or" thinkers because I see how we can honor everything at once and how it works together not against each other.

One of the things I’ve always said (even before I knew what an Ascendent is) was, “Everyone could use a little variety once in a while. I know I like it”. I have a Gemini Ascendent with Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces. I am admittedly flaky. I forget things and my opinions or thoughts are very changeable at times. However, when it comes to my core values and the people or things that I love, I find ways to show up, every time. Having the moon in Aries in my chart keeps me frank and honest, often to my own detriment (Ha!).

In my Western Tropical chart I'm Sun in Aquarius 3rd house (3rd house rules Gemini) with Moon in Gemini 7th house and Saturn conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius rising 🤔 "... jaundice of the soul" 😶 I've found, from personal experience, that **Nihilism** **is** **necessary** especially in shituations where a boss (or some *perceived* kin) is deliberately being petty; in that moment you can sense they have dishonest intentions; the mind has to realize that their behavior has nothing to do with you 👀 ... but still have ethical/moral integrity (I think that's what you meant by jaundice of the soul).

To my understanding the importance of the constellations is the biggest myth in astrology. The signs are based on sections of the horizon as I understand it; the star constellations were made up later on basis of something already existing, "the ramm section", "the bull´s section", each of them getting it´s characteristic in relation to the cardinal points. That´s why it´s so hard to recognize a bull in Taurus etc... the animal came first (based on the energetic quality of that sector), the star sign was forced to be seen as that energy later (a greek invention, it seems). Like in the old vedic text: they have the same 12 sectors, same meaning, but represented by a body part of Vishnu lying around the horizon; the head is Aries and the feet Pisces and they have exactly the same connotations. They are not depicted in the sky, underlining that it´s about math: 360 degrees of a circle, that´s the horizon, the signs are part of it. That´s my understanding. Because... What happens when the constellation Gemini is not longer in that place in the sky? Does the meaning and relation to the pole star change? Doesn´t seem reasonable to me. With that said: really likes the reasoning about this. Haven´t seen this video yet, but the one on Virgo really nailed it. (Oh gosh, Snif 24 is my 12 year old son, seems as he has been logged in. I´m Mattias Sigurdsson.)

Gemini moon here, yes, I often see both sides. Playing devils advocate so much that people often mistake my point of view for the opposite of what I believe. Also, my daughters closest friend is a Gemini sun , and though I know he is a decent, wonderful person, at some level i have the hardest time getting to know him. Indeed someone "inaccessible that I wrestle with to understand."

What do you make of how that energy affected the direction of the respective nations?
