The videos are great. They have also helped sway my wife into seeing the benefits of me getting a newer touring pwc to enjoy some longer rides. I appreciate the help. Haha

Thanks for taking me up on my request, Bob. Looks like you had a good time. Was hoping to see some footage ― especially drone footage of Wolf Bay, in Peninsula Lake's east end ― but you did manage to capture my mom and dad, working on their dock, at the 17:55 mark (on the left hand side of the screen). If you filmed this video this week, I must have just missed you, as I was up there from last Sunday to Friday, but I was probably away from the water, at the time. Hopefully you can make it up here, again, and check out Mary Lake, as well as Lake of Bays. Might need to stay overnight in that abandoned cottage that you filmed, near the end of the video. With respect to your running low on fuel, you can always fill up at Huntsville Marine, on Fairy Lake. Lake Vernon might have a place to fill up, as well. Also, Skeleton Lake, in Huntsville's west end, might be another location that would interest you for a future video. Said lake is believed to have been created by a meteorite impact, about 800 million years ago. It has exceptionally clear water, due to being fed by spring water, which allows for one to be able to see up to 98 feet below the surface (with the naked eye), on a calm day. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skeleton_Lake_(Ontario) God bless. P.S. In order to garner for views and traffic for your channel, I would recommend adding hashtags to your videos. KZbin allows one to add up to three hashtags per video. What you do is place them at the bottom of a given video's description box. Once saved, said hashtags will appear atop the video title (see my channel, if you want some examples of how this looks). For this video, you could include the following hashtags, as an example: #Huntsville #Muskoka #PeninsulaLake

Thanks for the recommendation. I really enjoyed the area. I was there on Weds. I will look into those hash tags. I am a little weak on the whole KZbin end of things. It’s a bit of a long day to go up and back from Thornhill and still get in 6 hours on the water. Thanks again.

Can you access Mary Lake with larger boats or is the river too shallow?
@MojoPin19832 жыл бұрын
@@kurtiskelly3829 Yes you can. I gave a more detailed response to your question, elsewhere in the comments.

Lovely shot of the rising drone over the turning boat.

I had to do an abrupt stop right after that moment as the drone was flying up into power lines. Got what I needed though.

That mic setup is amazing Bob ! Can hear you nice and loud and clear ! Your drone was about to hit the water ! Keep it bit up to avoid as the frequencies interrupt alot on top of water !

Yea I noticed that as well. It dipped down on its own. I wouldn’t put it that low.

Does anyone know if Mary Lake can be accessed via the other 3 lakes (specifically Fairy)? Is the river too shallow for larger boats?
@bobsudeyko40882 жыл бұрын
As you saw in the video I only went a little ways down the river until I reached the lock. From what I saw I think a bigger boat could go dow into Mary lake
@MojoPin19832 жыл бұрын
@Kurtis Kelly Yes, Mary Lake is accessible via the Brunel Locks, on the Muskoka River, immediately south of Fairy Lake. Larger boats are not a problem. Make sure you check the dates and hours of operation, though. You can find that info on Huntsville’s official website by searching: Brunel Locks.
