Sad news, I met Bill Mathewson a few times and sold him a piece of manufacturing equipment, they had a neat little set up, their factory was cool. When I quit the sales company I was working for I gave him a vinyl copy of Rumors. I hope he still has it. Wishing you all the best for the future Bill. Absolutely gutted to hear about the news. I hope some other companies can pick up some of this talent to help build up their staff, even if its not perfect, it would be cool to see someone like say intellijel bring in a few of these brains from these few companies closing and task them with building some killer stuff. Imagine if intellijel worked with WMD on a stand alone drum machine or even just to help bring fresh ideas to their brand. I'm just throwing random examples, nothing serious. Just a daydream. I know it would be best if everyone got to stay in business but I just hope the talent doesn't leave forever and that we will still get to see some of all of your brilliant designs in some form, and even maybe collaborating with other talent to make something awesome and new! Thats my hope at least.

You say, there will be 600 of each module. Is this much? How many you make normally?

We usually do initial runs of 500 or so, but then re-run perpetually so it ends up being a lot more than 600.
