I say this many times & I say it Again - Rants has a GIFT - man is the BEST English speaking Football analyst on Any platform in the UK or America - ANY platform..... man not only SEES the game but he is a Natural born TEACHER..... Conversation at 53 min is Fascinating b/c Rants is Brilliantly breaking down "Football IQ" but homeboy can't Hear it b/c he Emotional bout Tyrique George........ I have seen this Many times over the yrs & we can all get emotionally invested in a young player at our own club & it causes us to go BLIND to his deficiencies....... Rants, patiently listens - Never becomes frustrated or emotional - let's man say his piece over & over & then Patiently explains that fault in his Logic & then gives Example after example after example w/ real life players to illustrate & Prove his explanations...... I am a retired teacher & many times I hear people who think the Professor who teaches the Advanced IQ classes are the Best teachers but this is False b/c High Achieving students practically teach themselves b/c they are Intrinsically (self / internally) Motivated - the chool super intendent put his / her Very best teaching talent in front of the student population w/ special needs or lower IQ who struggle to understand, grow frustrated & give up it takes a Very special talent to get thru to that population..... I am NOT saying Rants partner here is low IQ - he obviously is very right also & knows football.... ut b/c he does know football so well he doesn't realize his Emotion for Tyrique George has clouded his judgement & this can happen to Any of us But over yrs of listening to Rants I have Never heard him fall into this trap....... to both of you Fella's - Top shelf content brudda's!

no lie don. no one is happier than the gusto signing than me. but tbh i never thought his crossing or end product was good. but overall hes been very good. but that end product needs a lot of work for him to get to the next level.

Tyrique George is 18 man.... Hudson Odoi at his age was dropping Eden Hazard performances in the Europa League which is a level higher than Conference league.... I don't think George is all that.....

It's the same in any sport. Your fundamentals will be developed at an early age, of course there will be late bloomers but ultimately the super gifted footballers will be known by the time they reach u13/u14's level. Boxing for example, AJ bridged the gap as much as he could but Usyk was just a wonderkid from too young that his overall skill will win 9 times out of 10.
