Citizens are suffering from food scarcity, Govt is preaching subsistence farming, but now Govt requires a brand new aircraft, or two, no one is asking it to go local. They treat Govt properties shabbily. Tinubu's son, Buhari's daughter used the official aircraft for the most mundate things. What's the guarantee that will stop when the new aircraft are purchased?

Something is definitely wrong. They should get knowledgeable people to comment on these things. There is no way a 19 year old 737 will be unserviceable. The EFCC should investigate. I challenge anyone to check the age of the BA 777 that flies to Lagos everyday. The age of the present air force 1 is 34 years. It is due for replacement in another 4 years.

The president deserve a new aircraft for his protection and stop wasting money on repairs. But I all the aircrafts should be sold and buy two.

I think the new aircraft should be bought for them. But with the present economic situations of the country, if two can not be bought at least one should be purchased because it is for their official use. The life of a president and his vice are very important they should be accorded an maximum respects. And instead of flying commercial and first aircrafts, it's better to buy a brand new private jet for them. It will reduce the expenses than flying commercial. But the only one thing that Nigerians leaders should do for its citizens is to value their lives as well as number one citizen life is valued and important. But it's not like that in Nigeria the revised is the case, insecurity, hunger and high cost of foods inflations. Security of life of the citizens is no longer guaranteed. That's why it looks as if people are criticizing the purchase of the new aircraft for their president.
