It’s my first time here.. youre health goals hit home for me. I am 55, and have also been overweight for most of my life. Last year was my year. I managed to lose 35 kg. (I am Australian so 35 kg in pounds is around 77-ish) I am at a normal weight for the first time in such a long time. But now I want to focus on my health as well. I’m a new subscriber and plan to follow your health journey and hopefully help myself as well. Good luck.

🤣🤣 half of my pantry has been in the dining room waiting to be organized for over 2 weeks! I decided to add some shelves and as always it takes me forever to get a project done!

Lynn I used your pizza dough recipe to make breakfast pinwheels which is similar to cinnamon rolls but the filling was scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese. They were so good and your dough recipe was a big part of that. I froze my leftovers for quick breakfasts

That's a great way to use it! I will try that!!!

Lynn a big job like a pantry I find I have to tackle it a little at a time go do something else between even a few minutes a day will get it done. At least for me, this has become a new normal for me with my hips needing to be replaced and my back LOL but I am still moving and it works well, little at a time really adds up. Blessings and prayers

Happy New Years Lynn, to you and the family. I have jumped into this challenge with both feet, last year I loosely followed and it was awesome. This year, I spent the last week and a half taking inventory of my home canned foods, veg/proteins/fruits, then I tackled my pantry and shelves of baking supplies and store bought food. It was a big job but I just did a few hours each day until it was done. Next will be my freezers, they can wait until I have more time to empty each one, and being in Atlantic Canada I can set the contents outside (January) while I clean it out. Good luck to everyone!!

I've struggled with weight since I was 8. Same thing, parents made a big deal about it. So grateful that my 16yo does not have the overweight genetics (so far🙏).

For the Dutch baby - if you add the flour last to the blender instead of first (or use an immersion blender) it should blend better! I also always use a recipe with 6 eggs instead of 4 (more protein but also more ‘poof’ in the oven). 1c each of milk and four still. Everything looks amazing! I think I need an air fryer now for those fries🤤

I will add flour last next time! Thanks!

Your Pantry Challenge videos are some of my favorite ones you do all year, Lynn. Well, these and also the Every Bit Counts challenge videos too. It is so helpful to see others working toward a similar goal. Your pantry 'store' looks awesome. I hurt my back recently then immediately came down with the 'crud' that is going around so neither my inventory or shelf straightening has started. All I've done is to go through my working spice collection. It made me choke up to see your grandmother's special holiday dishes with your lovely meal on them, how truly meaningful for you to have her with you this way. All your meals looked great. I use a pizza stone and never get that yummy bubble but I'd be Team Bubble for sure. And yes on the bacon...it's gone from the standard 1# to 14 oz and now I've been seeing 12 oz packages. Annoying. Yay for quick-fix meals from home canned staples. Ours is my spaghetti with meat sauce, only takes as long as boiling the pasta. Keep warm and have a great week. Thank you again for the inspiration.
