We love canned potatoes. I take them from the jar, pat them dry, toss in Avocado or Extra Virgin olive oil, redmond real salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and some smoked paprika a little bit or dried oregano. Place them in the air fryer at 370 degrees for about 12 to 15 mins. They come out super crispy and just delicious.

Thanks for the tip!! I was thinking of trying them in air fryer as my last try with them!

This was SUCH a relatable video, Lynn and I thank you for that. ❤ Re-watching now on my pc so i can comment and the most striking thing was when you were adding that cinnamon to the chili and you didn't hear me saying 'NO, don't do it!' haha. Hoped I was wrong and you'd enjoy it but sadly...you reacted as Hubby and I did the time I tried a similar chili recipe. Cinnamon/pumpkin=yum. Cinnamon/chili=NO, haha. At least you got to turn yours into eggs? (Maybe start a blooper real for the end of 2025 review?) I have too many canned potatoes, they're ok I just don't remember to use them. Thank you for the lighting issue, I was curious. So sorry for your anxiety and sleep issues. I've had to stop watching coverage of the CA fires and the US political stuff. Still praying, of course but wallowing in the sadness and fearmongering isn't healthy for me, I hope that whatever is troubling you can be managed. LOVED that big bowl of home grown eggs...that was probably at least $30 worth here in the US. Wonderful that yours are fresh and so healthy to eat. Love the apron you wore in these shots and sure hope that this week finds you feeling and sleeping better. Sorry for the too-long comment. See you in the next video!

PS...try putting some of your whole rolled oats in the blender and pulsing. Supposedly by chopping it a bit it creates 'quick cook' oats. I've done it a time or two but we really aren't bothered by the texture of the whole oats so I'm not so sure it resolves proper texture issues. Looking forward to the mixer info! Last edit, I promise: Can't wait to try your cobbler idea. I have 1 1/2 completely dried Costco croissants and hope that they might work the same as your biscuits. Might just use a pint jar of pie filling in case it isn't as good as your leftover biscuit cobbler. You should make a 'short' ('reel'?) of yours!

Thank you so much! Yes I've had to stop watching the news also. And I almost left out the cinnamon lol

I tried the pork ragu recipe, and it was okay, but do not miss the last step in sprinkling Parmesan over the top, it totally makes it, sooo good!

Sorry the chili didn't work for you. My guess would be that the omission of the green Chiles and cayenne was the culprit. They probably would have cut some of the pumpkin. Maybe a splash of lemon or lime juice, even vinegar to add the acid to cut the pumpkin.

Maybe, we aren't fans of very spicy lol but i think we just like my usual chili recipe lol

That is not a win! I so appreciate your honesty. I don’t like the canned potatoes so I made an old old recipe for mashed potato cakes. Added +++ spices. Tasted great.

I have to say I would of cooked my turkey before putting it in the crockpot. I don't like raw burger cooked in the slow cocker, taste or texture of it. Blessings and Prayers for you and yours Lynn.
