The #threeriverschallenge is put on by Jessica from the channel "Three Rivers Homestead" here on KZbin. She challenges participants to only use items in your pantry, freezers or wherever you store food, for the month of January. This challenge makes you aware of what you have and what needs to be used up before the new preservation year ahead. This is our first year participating in this challenge but we are up to it. Although we will try to avoid going to the grocery store at all, our tools allow us to purchase dairy, bread, and very few fresh veggies. Join us Wednesdays as we take part in this challenge and Sundays for farm update videos.

I bet a lot of people would never think to make a steak sandwich out of the two leftover Ck fried steaks you had leftover in the other video. If it is something like that it might help someone out that doesn’t cook the way you do. That served with some fries and some sweet ice tea or an ice cold coke! Yum!😋

I made it in one of my videos but can’t seem to find it. Drowning Flauta Sauce Ingredients 1large (qt jar)can whole tomatoes 4-5 jalapenos (cut off stems, I leave seeds) 2 cubes tomato base bouillon and 2 cubes chicken bouillon gallon water salt to taste ( should need almost none b/c of bouillon cubes) Instructions : 1. Boil tomatoes with boullion cubes in a gallon of water until rolling boil for about 15 minutes. 2. Remove tomatoes only and blend on liquify in blender, return to pot of soup 3. Take fresh jalapenos and blend on liquify with a small amount of water. (you should see only very minute pieces) 4. Add jalapenos to soup. Remove from the stove. Pour into muffin tins and freeze. Remove frozen liquid and store in ziplock bag.
