I love learning about anything regarding prehistoric peoples. The Three Rivers Petroglyph Monument Trail fits that bill. There are over 21,000 petroglyphs at this site and are the products of the Jornada Mogollon people between 1000 and 1400 AD. The trail is located about an hour and 45 minutes from Las Cruces and is 17 miles north of Tularosa, NM. It offers 5 shelters with picnic tables, 1 group/handicap site and 2 RV sites. Restrooms and water are available.

Haha! Right?! I think food is so much a part of any experience. It’s the 2nd time we’ve visited the petroglyphs but the first time we didn’t film it. I find them incredibly interesting. Thanks so much for watching. 🙂🥾🥾

Wow this is a cool place and it’s amazing to see so many petroglyphs on the rocks. Would be interesting how those boulders got there like this. Didn’t know a place like this exists that close to White Sands. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍

Wow, all those petroglyphs were so cool! The one sheep looked like half sheep half alien. I do feel bad for the ladybug killed by the arrow. I found you through a comment you left on a Walter Zolna video. I met him and hiker dude dad this past sunday at a KZbin meet up. It was great. I liked and subscribed. Thanks for sharing. 👍
