When Bowling Scientist, Mikey Pinel, goes to see his Pro Shop Operator, Larry Balser, he encounters a coverstock that is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Mikey is startled to realize he wants this URETHANE and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds it is desperate to get in his bag. Unable to resist urethane’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Pinel admits he wants it, too-but on his own terms.

Same balls from the last few vids. The purple and double cross are both 4 x 2 PAL and the pink is actually 1 x 6.5 x .5 up after a remeasure.

I love the way that short pin Pink Window rolls. I might try a short pin on my next urethane ball.

I recommend it only on assym urethanes. I love the way it pushes an 800 grit "purple" cover through the midlane with tilt and rotation! Mine is 1.25"

Great stuff Mikey, Sad there is so much controversy over a cover stock that is called urethane but yet really rolls like a reactive. Those that rolled the OG urethane back in the day know the difference. Would love to see how your pops Sumo stacks up against the new stuff. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

The King is right! I have a Vintage Brunswick Grizz (1989) and a Grey Rhino (1987), both 76 hardness and they roll completely different than any modern urethane ball I own, especially my Purples. But those two balls are truly amazing on House shots. In many ways better than my Modern urethane's because they have a ton of control and wont break out of line like the modern stuff.

What pattern is this? Thanks for showing the differences between the three, it was nice to see the different shapes between the PH and Cross. Also, I know you did a hand positions video a couple years ago, are you planning to do another hand positions video for two handers soon? Thanks for the content that you do.
