Btw, if the cabin one rings a bell, it's better known as The Huntsville Camping Trip
@gravitea26018 ай бұрын
The utter isolation in the cabin and the dolls is terrifying. Regardless of if whatever was in the cabin possesses other people to make them forget of the victims, or if whatever fate befalls its victims can rip them from existence, it makes help seemingly impossible. Add the phones breaking, and instead turning from an item that can connect to the outside world to being directly linked to that entity, it makes giving in seem like the only option.
@gravitea26018 ай бұрын
Symbolically, the story seems to be about going through a traumatic event that affects you so deeply that it changes how you look at the world. Everything that you thought you understood becomes foreign, or reminds you of whatever it is you’ve gone through.
@edgyzero630513 күн бұрын
It legitimately reminds me very much of something that someone would experience on a datura trip, which honestly makes it even more scary because it's something you could potentially experience for real.

I love how you make these creepypasta readings in such a nostalgic way. Even the song you use brings me back to 2014-2015 when it was used a lot on horror narations on KZbin

Been a viewer of the channel for a couple of years now, I actually came from the "That creepy feeling in source games" video getting put into my recommended. Your channel has been a comfort in my life for a long time, and while I'm sick as a dog right now, your video's provide a lot of comfort Keep doing what your doing, hope this finds you not plague ridden like everyone seems to be right now

In regards to the first part of the first story, when i was young just around when my mother felt "hes old enough to be home alone" i would always game one muff off out of habit and ass i would play i would hear my mothers voice call for me to cone downstair in the middle of the night which was odd cus i was fully home alone at the time and never felt the front door slam shit, we had a heavy front door that would slightly shake the house and everytime i heard the voice id feel off and go checl the parking lot to find the lot empty and i would just lock my door and try to forget it with games and friends but id always feel endless fear of passing the stairs or going down stairs after hearing the voice

Faulty Wiring clears easy, while the other two are great little spooky stories, that ending REALLY hits.

[POTENTIAL SPOILERS/THEORY] I'm pretty confident that somehow, either through some dimensional accident or timeline slip or something, the narrator effectively "stole" Josh's luck/success. At the end of the story, the narrator describes what to me sounds like a "Lucky Stone." These are rounded, grey stones, often with patterns (such as grooves) found at the edge of rivers, just like the one the narrator was at when they found it. The narrator makes a point of telling us they kept it, and still have it. It's also worth pointing out that the light Josh sees, and which passes through him, is grey, which imo is a very odd color for a light to be unless it has specific relevance, like say being the same color as the stone... The narrator also makes it clear that Josh had a lot going for him early on, but after a specific point (I suspect right after the creek incident(s)?), everything started to go wrong in his life. The narrator, meanwhile, says he's been successful, and that it seemed like Josh might have been envious of that. I suspect its much more likely Josh has (at least partially) pieced together what happened, and has a hard time being around the person who now has his success/luck instead of him. Josh also says that he knows things will only get worse, which would make sense if somehow his ability to *have* success had been literally removed from him through some means. The thing I can't quite figure out is what sort of dimensional shenanigans actually went down to cause this. Both characters claim to have been at the creek to piss while the other smoked, and both encountered [SOMETHING] that stuck with them at the creek, so it feels like alternate dimensions/timelines crossing over or flipflopping, but both characters' experiences seemingly result in the same reality afterwards? Was the light the narrator in another dimension? The stone? Some intangible luck transference ghost? I really don't know, but hopefully someone smart can figure that part out lol

A pipe dream. I've always scattered breadcrumbs and pottery shards on the crimson forest's ground for his enjoyment and consumption . I've even left offerings of old railway lanterns and slightly melted VHS tapes of 90s cartoons on his cabin doorstep. Still no response. I have realized one cannot befriend the mist.

I'm pretty sure I've camped at Huntsville before. I just hope I don't remember this story if I ever camp there again, because that would definitely mess with me. I've had a couple of experiences in other parks in the area where I'd see an old dilapidated cabin in a strange place, and when I'd go back to find it again it just wouldn't be there anymore. But even though it made me feel strange, i just assumed my sense of direction was off.
