Thank you for all of the kind words. Matt and Ben did a phenomenal job with this one. So excited to have 25th Century involved with the project. -chad

Thanks for the review!! I was thinking about purchasing this, but it sounds like it would be too complicated/involved for my sister and I 🤔

Have Jen try this using different colored pens for each round. I alternate between two colors and it makes it so much easier to keep track of completing all of the cascading combo actions.

that is a good idea :)

Phenomenal game! I've only played it solo so far, but I'm definitely intrigued by your idea of incorporating Farmer Edith into the multi-player version. There is so much to explore, it has to be in my top 3 roll and writes! Along with Rolling Realms and Welcome to

I am thinking Rahdo likes this game. Good to know I just ordered a copy and are really hopeful this will become my wife and I's "go to" game. Thanks!

I've got a friend who is pretty much fed up with roll & writes, but I'm totally on you side: Keep 'em coming ^^

I am one of those people who isn’t really a fan of roll and writes… So many microgames - I would much rather play a “big” game, especially if you are going to throw “big” mechanics into smaller type of games like roll ‘n writes.

It was easy to miss bonus actions in Fleet Dice. This seems like even more so. Their next one, Motor City, is very intriguing. Hope you can review that soon post Kickstarter.

I'm liking this a little more than Fleet the dice Game. There's a bit more freedom in how to work around Edith marking off your crops etc. It's not as restrictive yet still a lot to think about.

Such a great game! This one has my heart since I work with Native American Tribes and one of the tribes I worked with is noted as being a contributor to the theme at the end of the rule book. I would very much be interested if you come up with a way to incorporate Edith into a 2P game; if you do end up trying it, can you update via BGG forum?

Yes it’s great. I like it even better than Fleet Dice Game. Lots of things to do … lots of choices to tick off. :) Lots of combos. Cute theme integration. :)

Ordered it online after playing it on TTS. Such a fantastic game that I backed Motor City as well!

Hmm, I still think Hadrian’s Wall triggers the bigger chains of combos. I enjoy both Three Sisters and Hadrian’s Wall but the latter gets my vote for the deepest and most satisfying game play.

And I would much rather play a “big” game if I want that level of thought in my games. I would rather keep my roll ‘n writes light - like On Tour.

I am on the fence for several roll&write games. Just wondering what is your opinion on three sister versus draw & write isle of cats versus dinosaur island roll&write.
@rahdo2 жыл бұрын
haven't played rawr&write so i can't speak to that. i prefer isle of cats because i love tile laying (even virtual tiles) :)

@@Ah3Dog they're both great. i'd decide on whether you like back yard gardening or commercial fishing more as a setting :)

@@rahdo Ha ha....the problem is I like both gardening and fishing themes. :) It may end up I will buy both. I observed their 3rd creation Motor City was more complicate, at least from the dice selection perspective. BTW, I am also interested in Fliptown R&W game which will be in KS at the end of April... Too many games to play! :)
