Yes, they did. They knew how to nail the three part harmony singing style for men. If any of the Three Stooges had a fourth man singing with them, they sounded like a genuine Barbershop Quartet!
@TheRoguishOne2 жыл бұрын
@@DeadhunterThe That's true. Larry knew all the ins and outs of Vaudeville and he had boxing training in his youth. I always did like it when he played his violin in any of their sketches. He was always just as talented and versatile as the Howard brothers.

@@TheRoguishOne Yes, and it was all due to an accident he had as a child. He grew up in a jewelry shop and picked up a bottle of cleaner that looked like a bottle of soda. His father knocked it out of his hands right before he could drink it, but it splashed on his arm. The doctor who saved him told his parents that the best remedies for gradually restoring the strength back in his arm were to take violin and boxing lessons.

Anything that required arm movement and building up, the doctor recommended.

The Three Stooges were so swell, and the set of 2 minutes or so in the video is likely one of the best short clips....and the music and singing is genuinely righteous for reasons going beyond the fact that the Stooges were in it. Another swell clip is in "Brideless Groom" where a woman beats the heck out of Shemp, and the actress portraying that woman was Christine McIntyre, who likewise portrayed Elaine in this scene.
