BremSter solves "Thripple The Fun" by Flinty.
A Sudoku using the Thripper Lines constraint.

📋 Puzzle Rules:
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Thripper Lines - They're like Zipper lines but there are three legs rather than two, where digits an equal distance from the centre of a Thripper line sum together to the same total, which is the value of the digit placed in the line's centre (highlighted with a bump).
e.g. R3C1 + R3C2 + R5C1 = R4C1.

This was such an amazing puzzle, and a great solve, BremSter! It did click a bit sooner for me when I tried it when it appeared on CtC, and was able to finish in 12:30 (conflict checker off), but many thanks to Flinty for it and to BremSter for presenting it!

13:00 on the vid was the beginning of one of my favourite moments watching someone solve a puzzle of mine. ❤ Thank you for the solve! Yes, this was the Boxing Day CTC Simon video, but he’d had a bit to drink so don’t judge him too harshly. 😂 This was submitted to you the day before that CTC video, and I think you swapped it out at the time for a different puzzle of mine which I was very grateful for. I didn’t realise it was still on your list, or maybe someone else requested it since, so this was a lovely surprise. 🙏

This was probably added to my queue back then. I just say a Flinty puzzle that had been in the backlog for a while and decided to pull it out while I was in the mood to try one. I don't think it was more than be going through the backlog. This happens.

3:30 The minimum sum: the six cells in column 9 add to 21. Block 1's three remaining cells add to 6. So the total sum adds to at minimum 27, and we have three different sums adding to 9 at minimum.

Another great puzzle. I was very happy to spot the breakin straight off by just looking at the minimums and it was a lot of fun! I ran into issues a couple of times when I started dividing my thripper totals by three instead of two but I always get confused on zipper lines in a similar way too! :)
