This house is outrageous. I really love it. I don't necessarily want the whole concrete block aspect of it, but the minimalist idea with clean lines and muted tones are really peaceful.

Postmodernism is a very specific architecture style from the 1980s and the early 1990s. This house has nothing to do with that. It's a gorgeous house but 'postmodern' is just so not the right word.

Watching 3 birds a while back because all their designs were the same. I wasnt getting inspired, I didn't feel like it showed they had talent if they kept on doing the same thing over and over again despite countless people complaining about it. It’s so huge, and for like what ? 2 people living in this ? Indecent really. I love the idea of a concrete house, but the bigger it is, the more ostentatious, the less it makes sense and the more you feel disgust for it, especially in the ways of these people decorating it that way. I just hate all the art put on the walls of this house to be honest, the furnitures are also giving me stomach ache, it feels so inhuman, unnatural and some colors are straight up giving me nausea.. that painting on the second floor with the pink splashed like vomit thrown at it ewwwww 🤢 Im not against a little bit of fantasy, but thank God I’m not living with that woman, her taste is so off you can just tell she’s not the one who conceived the idea of the concrete house but “clothe” it with her bullshit bad taste. A concrete house is minimalistic in nature, therefore it goes hand in hand with zen and Far Eastern culture of stillness and calmness, not with eccentric shitty modern art, to me it throws off the atmosphere of the concrete and greenery surrounding it. We already live in a very noisy world, no one wants to come to a home being swallowed up by the vastness of a ceiling and rooms, of noise in form of an image, people want to come home with an idea of refuge, where you can rest and feel safe. This house doesn’t make me feel safe at all, nor that it feels like a home but more like a reality tv show complex meant for dozens of people to live in for some time in the end. Best concrete house I’ve seen to date is James Srockwells Bunkeren, far better, more intimate, calm and done with great taste. If there is anything I like about this is the idea of the concrete house first, because it gives a sense of safety being extremely robust and easy to take any adverse weather, and the good matching colors of a light beige with the concrete as with the stairs leading up to the second floor but that’s it, I hate everything else, including the interior design or the rooms, the indecent surface of the house itself on 3 floors, definitely doesn’t feel like a home, I would not live in this even for free.

Thank you for this wonderful tour. I really loved it all. The wonderful host has such incredible, beautiful and so functional design taste. she really thought of everything. Who was the architect? My favourite parts were how the garden poured into the house upstairs and downstairs. The light and garden colours through glass, sky lights and voids. Please do more tours like this. I would have liked a garden tour as well. Such beautiful landscaping (except the bamboo, I prefer more natives to provide habitat).

from the travertine, the art piece & colourful rug in the entry, love, love, love! The matte black entertainment built in unit, striking. The half concrete with the poles drilled in looks great. The backyard plants hiding the fence, simply but brilliant. The kitchen & butler very very lovely. Love the stairs spaced enough to see the garden, excellent.
