Yes, it's down, but you've no idea what side of the line it is! Everyone's done that once in their career. Foot down, look calm, hope the umpire buys it and actually doesn't notice your 2 inches past the line, with your foot securely down 🤣

the ball bowled at 2.09 should have been called a NoBall. maybe umpires need to check on the laws of cricket. oh here is the law for anyone else. 41.7.1 Any delivery, which passes or would have passed, without pitching, above waist height of the striker standing upright at the popping crease, is to be deemed to be unfair, whether or not it is likely to inflict physical injury on the striker. If the bowler bowls such a delivery the umpire shall immediately call and signal No ball.
