I’m loving that storage container for your HO parts! I nerd out on stuff like that. Do you fulfill orders from the storage container or print on demand?

Hey man! Yeah so I was really good at filling the containers before but since things got really busy, most of the hot items bins are empty and I’ve been printing on demand. Almost all of the prints for this department take less than 2-3 hours and another 1/2 hour to wash and cure. Thanks for the question.

2:20 Your paint roller filament hanger is either extremely ghetto or extremely brilliant. I’m leaning toward brilliant ;)

Haha. Very ghetto! I have a video filmed on a laser cut bracket to replace them but I still have yet to cut them out and finish it. A ton going on right now haha

You referenced your label printer, but which one is it?
@threedeeprince2 жыл бұрын
Oh yes! It’s the iDPRT SP410. I know there are plenty of great ones out there but anything beats printing them on letter sized paper, and cutting them out, and taping them to a box.

which channels or websites did you use to figure out how to properly setup your business?
@threedeeprince2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comments! I’m kind of a learn by mistakes kind of person. I just did a lot of research and asked others around me. I have a few good mentors that also own their own businesses.

I’ve just started selling a few things I’ve 3D printed. How do you market yourself? Also how did you get into the mini stuff?
@threedeeprince2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for commenting! Great job on selling your items! So, there’s a lot of research that can be done in SEO for your preferred sales channel. But I kind of threw out a bunch of ideas and saw what stuck. I sell mainly on Etsy and eBay. As far as getting into scale model things, I initially wanted to see what my house would look like in a small scale. So, I printed it out and it kind of grew from there. I saw the price of a lot of model train miniatures at hobby stores and saw the potential. My feet are barely in the water with it but it’s brought in thousands just from what I have sold

@@threedeeprince awesome! I have an Etsy store but it hasn’t gotten any traction. I’ve had some views but no buys. I sell most of my stuff in a site called mercari. It’s great but the fees are kinda high. I would like to mainly sell on Etsy but I don’t know how to reach a wider audience.

Hi! What program do you use to design your models? TIA
@threedeeprince2 жыл бұрын
Great question! Thank you for asking. So, I almost exclusively use autodesk fusion 360 for my 3D items. I will use adobe illustrator or SAI flexisign or cut2D for my laser cut or cnc items.
