This is the topic I seek advice on the most. I hope you have more to come bc I love learning where people gain inspiration and figure out the sett that works best for the particular cartoon they are using. This has stumped me more than anything else.

For now I use multiple images and gain inspiration or combine aspects of each for inspiration. Keeping it simple as I’m still in the beginning of my tapestry journey. I have more trouble knowing what set works best with my cartoon.

Yeah, knowing the sett is really a matter of experience, and what feels best ... there are no rules!

I really love this video as well. It takes the pressure off. While learning I was told to keep it simple until I became comfortable to branch out. I think it’s made me timid to explore more though.
