The billie eilish thing is actually genius. She did an interview years ago where she was asked her favorite artist between Drake. Eminem and Childish Gambino. She said Childish because Eminem always use to scare her as a kid when she would watch his videos. So he took it and flipped it by saying " I'm just killing rhymes which is really Childish and silly but I'm really like this I'm giving nightmares to Billie eilish" He starts it off with the happy birthday earlier as this dropped on billie's Birthday

The happy birthday thing is actually a double entendre. It's the whole Billy Eilish birthday thing, but also this album came out during the pandemic as he references with the first line. At the time that this album came out, the CDC was recommending that you wash your hands for the length that it takes to sing happy birthday twice toa good spreading the virus.

I think it's also a shot at MGK who wanted to make a song with Yelawolf, MGK was planned to diss Eminem on that track with Yelawolf but Yelawolf canceled the situation working with MGK on the song. There is an interview with Yelawolf about him getting notice of MGK writting a diss on Em and Yelawolf canceled the MGK future cause he didn't want to be part of it

Thank you for this! Great way to start my day! A lot of subliminal shots, but the one with Billie Ellish was actually based on an interview she had a few months prior to this album release. She stated that Eminem/Slim Shady used to give her nightmares as a kid (because of how graphic and sinister his lyrics are.) Also, the Happy Birthday part was the end of the previous verse, but also the start of the Ellish part. Dropped the album on her birthday, if I am not mistaken.

After over a year I think Side B will go down as eminem most underrated project. I thought Relapse was great but had some issues I thought recovery had great moments and not so good moments I thought MMLP 2 was a real quality album. Revival obviously was disappointing even though it wasn't as bad as everyone said. Kamikaze was a great rap album but didn't age really well and I think the first MTBMB was his best project since The Eminem show but Side B tops it for me. It's a fantastic album. The Eminem nostalgia matched with his modern flows and crazy spooky goofy production is just fantastic. Alfred's theme. Tone Deaf. Book of rhymes. These demons. Zeus and discombobulated stands out but that whole album is such a pleasure to listen to
